The Portfolio Office Analyst, works within the Portfolio Office for the Portfolio Office Manager.

The Analyst supports the senior management / board in the development of corporate strategy and provides the portfolio investment register.

The Portfolio Office Analyst also provides the mechanisms, tools and processes to support the prioritisation of programmes and projects within the portfolio and provides ongoing reports to ensure effective interdependencies are visible between programmes and projects

The Portfolio Analyst develops the process and tools to enable benefits management throughout the portfolio and monitors  and reports ongoing progress.  Supporting the ongoing governance and assurance arrangements, the portfolio office analyst will also provide support for escalated issues, risks, changes and exceptions from the portfolio.

The Portfolio Office Analyst will also create and manage the ongoing portfolio performance reporting arrangements through development of dashboard reporting systems and provide mechanisms and tools for capacity planning and resource management across the portfolio, programme and projects.
