Purpose

Programme and Project Manager Roles (Permanent or Contract)

Prosource ITTo support our growth we are looking to recruit confident, resilient, pragmatic, determined and head-strong Programme and Project Managers. Candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent and must hold PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMI certifications. You will be a proven leader and will have extensive previous project management experience working with project management methodology and tools and will have a background in IT and managing delivery within a complex programme environment. In addition you will be adaptable and have the ability to work to strict delivery deadlines and be able to influence others to do likewise.
 

Skills

Experience of working in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry of Exploration and Production, in particular operations and drilling is highly desirable.

In addition, suitable candidates will possess the following skills and experience;

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to communicate with personnel at all levels
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to achieve goals
  • A track record of delivering complex multi-million pound, multi-discipline IT projects
  • Ability to strategically plan change and to work “hands on” throughout projects
  • A strategic approach to change and be willing to go the extra mile
  • Excellent analytical skills & the ability to monitor & control plans, using MS Project
  • Ability to enable change and a positive attitude towards change
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt to different working environments
  • Attention to detail and concern for accuracy
  • A good commercial and organisational awareness
  • Good QHSSE awareness
  • The ability to facilitate, coach and mentor more junior PMO analysts
  • Experience running a PMO or a managing team of Project Managers
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written word and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage and control complex budgets
