Purpose

Project Manager required for an initial fixed term of 12 months by our Insurance client based in south east London. Reporting to director level, you will be responsible for a number of releases relating to a large scale data migration project within the organisation. The delivery of the new system is currently in progress but you will be responsible for the successful conversion of organisational data, as well as the removal of legacy systems currently being used.

Leading a small, dedicated project team within a matrix environment, the ideal candidate will be a Project Manager with some prior Insurance  / Financial Services exposure and perhaps some Business Analysis experience / knowledge of Policy Administration systems. You will ideally also have exposure to areas such as Life Assurance, Pensions and Savings. Another key area will be the supplier management of the system supplier. Our client is keen to point out that this is not an overly technical role. Above all they are looking for a Project Manager who is forthright and can speak their minds and who isn’t driven purely by Project Management processes.
