Purpose

Project Manager required to deliver multiple projects within the newly established Programme Management Office of our Telecoms client.  Reporting to the Director of Programme Management you will deliver cutting edge new technology services across the UK managing external supplier contracts up to £10m.  You will be directly responsible for the health, wellbeing and efficient resource utilisation of projects.

Candidates will have evidence of a track record of complex project delivery of at least £5m each.  An accredited Project Manager (PMP, Prince 2) and supported by a relevant degree (or equivalent), candidates will demonstrate a professional approach to project management, rather than merely being a skill.  Candidates will display operational daily project management, rather than more strategic roles (eg Programme Manager, Project Director).  Your communication skills will enable you to gain trust from external suppliers such that you are confident that your project plan reflects the reality.

This role would suit an aspiring project manager who is looking to make their mark establishing a project-driven ethos within a leading-edge technological environment.  Candidates are expected to come from the telecommunications, IT, Construction, Media or related fields.

• Professional project management career development
