Purpose
Project Manager required to lead client facing HR system implementations for our bespoke solution client. Reporting to the Programme Manager you will manage projects with values ranging from £50k to £multi millions. Acting as the main customer point of contact, you will produce detailed functional specifications before ensuring the smooth transition to the new system.
Candidates will have demonstrable experience of managing projects within an IT or HR environment to a Prince 2 based framework; ideally this will be supported by Prince 2 accreditation. You will have good understanding of IT infrastructures as well as experience of implementation. Communication will be a strong point enabling you to: engage with customers; describe technical issues to non-technical stakeholders; and, train users in the new system.

- Define the project scope
- Identify key stakeholders in conjunction with the client
- Share project deliverables with stakeholders
- Describe the project (including the system specification) in appropriate documentation
- Manage resources, allocating work packages to stakeholders (often with no line management responsibility) monitoring progress.
- Ensure the plan is maintained
- Implement effective risk management process
- Implement a continuous improvement culture to the project utilising BPR
- Continually strive to meet client needs gaining signoff on changes when required
- Systems expertise where required including training of new users and demonstrations to interested parties
Skills
- Demonstrable experience of managing projects within an IT or HR environment to a Prince 2 based framework
