Purpose

Permanent Project Manager required by our multinational client based in the south east who specialise in the delivery of supply chain integration solutions to a number of key customers. Working as part of the Solution Implementation team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions, from pre-sales through to delivery, which will include close interaction with customers and the management of offshore teams.

As an experienced Project Manager with a background in delivering IT and supply chain solutions in a customer focussed environment, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to work with development teams in mapping existing system specifications to enable successful migrations to new supply chain platforms. Key areas of expertise should include Demand Planning, Demand forecasting, E-payments, E-invoicing, ERP systems, vendor management and B2B installations. The ability to closely manage clients and offshore development teams throughout the lifecycle is key for our client and as such an element of travel to client sites is expected as part of the role.

Skills

• Experience in leading or managing migration or software development projects
• Comfortable running multiple projects
• Excellent people skills to work external customers, internal partners and off-shore teams
• A good understanding of B2B / EDI / Supply Chain Management
• Ideally an understanding of various connectivity options like FTP, HTTP, FTPS, SFTP, NDM
