Purpose

Senior Project Manager required to lead customer focused data capture projects for our data processing client. Reporting to the unit manager you will manage the full life cycle projects within a busy operational environment liaising between customers and operations staff to ensure requirements are met. Working to Prince 2 principles you will be responsible for planning (including costs and material requirements), implementation, control and reporting.

Candidates will be Prince 2 Practitioners and have demonstrable experience of managing projects within a Prince 2 environment. Used to working in a production environment, you will be comfortable within customer facing roles and quickly able to determine requirements and meet expectations. Your communication skills will be of the highest order complemented by high computer and database literacy.

• Day-to-day management of projects including planning, implementation, control and reporting working with operational staff to meet customer expectations
• Manage projects using Prince 2 principles
• Prepare and monitor project costs and material requirements providing support to bid teams
• Work with teams (internal and external) to define requirements and identify and manage risk, issues, assumptions and dependencies throughout the project life.
• Implement measures and controls based on identified quality requirements
• Manage suppliers ensuring projects are delivered to cost, quality and time.
