Project Manager - Retail Innovation
Purpose: Project Manager required on a fixed term contract for an environmental not for profit organisation with particular experience within retail chain stores (large global supply chains) based in Oxfordshire.
Working on a major UK programme established to promote resource efficiency, particularly focussing on creating a stable and efficient market for recycled materials and products. Candidates should have experience of building strategic partnerships within the UK retail sector - working closely with project partners, contractors and other programme/project managers.
Candidates should have a good knowledge of:
- Managing a portfolio of projects - working to PM principles
- Project team leadership
- Utilising influencing skills
- Research management
- Marketing and communication support - involving the organisation of events, preparation of research reports, case studies and the development of practical tools for use by decision makers
It would be beneficial for candidates to have a good knowledge of waste minimisation and recycling, forecast expenditure, tonnage reduction and carbon savings
This role is a short term fixed contract based in Oxfordshire.
