Client Implementation Project Manager

Purpose: Contract Project Manager required to join the new UK based operation of a US based company providing solutions that allow their clients (manufacturers and their channel partners) to maximize service agreement revenues.

In this role you will support the EMEAR Operations, working closely with the US based development and support teams on a project which is rolling out worldwide for a major global corporation.

As an individual you will have excellent Project management skills, experience of delivering software implementations, UAT etc., and the ability to analyse the business requirements and translate this to the implementation engineers.

You will have excellent client facing and interpersonal skills and be a self starter who is able to take on tasks and see them through to a successful conclusion. Experience of Contract Management (service) and distribution / channel management may be an advantage.
 

Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Monitor, track and report on project progress, deliverables and quality assurance.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and clearly communicate with team members, business clients and internal consultants regarding project status.
• Initiate action to identify and resolve project problems/issues and report to management on mitigating steps and actions taken to ensure timely deliverables, project success and quality.
• Manage project escalations and issues to closure – Includes managing and resolving all aspects of project technical issues.
• Partner with the clients Project Manager to implement the project against baseline and updated project plans.
• Gather information from the business, evaluate their needs and create implementation solutions.
• Facilitate requirements definitions sessions and design review meetings.
• Develop Functional Specifications based upon customer requirements.
• Manage and/or re-set expectations of the business by understanding the key business drivers and their prioritization.
• Understand the success metrics and provide recommendations on specific project decisions that are consistent with the customer’s success metrics.

Skills:

• Demonstrable Project Management Experience
• Demonstrable experience of application/infrastructure implementation
• Experience with contract management would be a significant advantage
• Bachelor's Degree
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Project, Excel, Access, Visio and Word

Person Specification:

• Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with senior management, business group and IT management and staffs
