Project Administrator – Manufacturing

Purpose: Our client, an international organisation are looking for a Project Administrator to join their organisation in a 2 year fixed term contract role. Working within a Project Management Office, you will be supporting projects of a construction / manufacturing nature (prior experience within these sectors not necessary), and be looking to advance and build up your knowledge and experience within project support.

Key skills required include; previous experience supporting project managers and projects, strong IT and administrative background, ability to multi-task, and the ability to work in the details as well as seeing the bigger picture.

Your role will be to support areas of this large programme of work, you’ll be setting up and running with projects from a project support point of view therefore experience in planning, monitor and control is essential. You should also be familiar with issues, risks and change control processes and procedures

An excellent role for any Project Administrator wanting to gain a vast amount experience within programme and project management support

Skills:

  • Prior experience providing project co-ordination services within a programme and project management environment
  • Ability to work in details and see the strategic picture
  • Strong MS office skills
  • Previous experience of an office environment, with a in-depth knowledge of procedures and processes
  • Commercial awareness
  • Experience within the manufacturing sector would be desirable
