Project Co-ordinator

Purpose: Our client, a software solutions provider, is looking for an experienced Project Co-ordinator to join their Central Project Office function.

Project Co-ordinator candidates should be a confident individual, willing and able to work with all levels of personnel. A background in the software development lifecycle is necessary, including an understanding of a project management tool (such as MSP or PMW) and project management principles.

Main purpose of the role:

  • To be responsible for the coordination of projects between development centres and client management
  • Monitor project deadlines / deliverables and ensure that relevant information is communicated to all interested parties
  • To make use of available tools for workflow management and project planning
  • You will be responsible for many projects at the same time - from the initiation through to delivery and be working on a variety of projects for different clients and products. You will have an excellent thorough background in project co-ordination and be fully confident and experienced in areas such as reporting, planning, monitoring, issue mgmt, risks, etc
  • An excellent opportunity for any project office co-ordinator wanting to work away from London in an easy to commute to in Surrey - with a Sunday Times Top 100 to work for organisation

Skills:

  • Previous experience in a project office environment
  • Prior experience co-ordinating software based projects (software development lifecycle exposure)
  • Experience with MS Project and/or PMW
  • Confident in the use of Word and Excel
  • NIKU Clarity experience a plus
