Project Office Assistant - Health Sector

Purpose: Interim Project Office Assistance required to manage the project office administration from sales to project close. Working closely with the programme and project managers you will assist in the practical delivery of projects and contribute to continuous improvement through collection and collation of project data.

Candidates will demonstrate reasonable experience of providing support in either a project or sales environment although you will have a good understanding of the project environment; where this is supported by internal accreditation (e.g. Prince 2) this will be seen as advantageous.

The role calls for a good administrator with excellent communication skills who is comfortable being the centre of attention. Although you will be mostly based at the North of England Office you can expect limited travel to project sites.
 

  • Provide support and assistance to sales opportunity work in the preparation and development of bid documentation
  • Provide support to Programme and Project Managers in the development of project plans and project documentation
  • Create virtual project sites for each project
  • Provide administrative support to Programme and Project Managers
  • Collect and collate project information for reporting purposes
  • Assist in the analysis and reporting of project information
  • Assist in the assurance of the sales/project management process
  • Assist in the development of the sales/project management processes and tools
  • Collect project information for continuous improvement purposes
  • File and archive documents as appropriate

Region: West Yorkshire

Location: North of England with some UK travel

Type: Contract

Salary Guide: Up to £150 per day

Start Date: As soon as possible; interviews being conducted in the next two weeks


Skills:

  • Strong project or sales background
  • Experience of prioritising work, assuring processes and assisting managers with completion of project stages
  • Experience of using MS Products


Person Specification:

  • A levels or equivalent vocational qualifications
  • Prince 2 exposure
  • Experience of working in the health sector a distinct advantage
  • Good all round communication skills
