Purpose: My Client a market leader in the provision of independent Healthcare services are looking for two experienced Project Managers to join their expanding team delivering new and upgraded facilities, which support their growth objectives in the UK market. In this role you will be a key member of the team taking responsibility for your projects through the full lifecycle from bid to final commissioning and handover.
You will have a demonstrable track record of managing and delivering high value, multifaceted projects to agreed levels of quality, on time and within agreed budgets. You will have demonstrable experience of developing project scope, defining and agreeing budgets and other commercial aspects of large projects. You will be used to identifying, managing and mitigating risk working within the framework of a defined project Methodology.
As a person you will have excellent interpersonal skills which allow you to build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, contractors and clients. You will be a leader, comfortable working with people at all levels, whilst managing expectations, encouraging excellence and recognising the contributions of your team.
Project Management:
- Develops and agrees Project Scope
- Constructs the project team
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Adheres to the Company Change Control process
- Develops and uses all relevant project documentation
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team
- Effectively applies Company methodology and enforces Company project standards
- Prepares for project status reviews
- Minimizes Company exposure and risk on project.
- All risks and issues to be recorded together with mitigation plans
- Ensures that mitigation plans are executed on time so as to remove the associated risk or issue
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Communication:
- Facilitates team meetings effectively
- Holds regular status/reviews meetings with project team
- Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
- Resolves and/or escalates risks & issues in a timely fashion
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
