Project Co-ordinator

Purpose: Experienced project co-ordinator required to join a health regulatory body working closely with the Project Manager on an array of projects across the organisation. We're looking for a project co-ordinator who can provide excellent support today and who is looking for a step up in terms of project management - leading workstreams yourself.

As a project co-ordinator, you will have proven co-ordination skills across the lifecycle - experienced with project management methods, processes and tools - in key areas such as planning, reporting, risks, issues, changes, meeting co-ordination, facilitation, co-ordinating logistics and making things happen.

You'll be working closely with the Project Manager in a mixture of projects - both IT related and non-IT (business change / process re-engineering etc) and will have the opportunity to take the next step up in terms of managing smaller projects or workstreams. This role is a 2 year fixed term contract (possible permanent conversion).

Skills:

  • Proven project co-ordination experience - breadth and depth of experience in project management support
  • Experienced with working with project management methods / processes / tools
  • Degree level educated
  • Hands on project support across the lifecycle - planning, reporting, control, issues / risks etc
  • Ability to pick up delegated tasks and activities from the project manager
  • PRINCE2 accreditation - desirable
  • Excellent IT skills - MSP 2000

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - able to work across departments / dispersed teams with diplomacy and tact to ensure project progress
  • Excellent verbal / written skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and a flexible approach to work
  • Task oriented
  • Ability to manage own workload and work to strict deadlines
