Evaluation Project Manager - Public Sector - Health Care

Purpose: Our client a new public sector organisation are looking for an experienced Project Manager with public sector experience to Lead and drive the design, planning and implementation of the evaluation programme of Local Presence methods, tools and pilot models

As the Evaluation Project Manager reporting to the Information Lead – Local Presence, you will work closely with the Programme and Business leads ensuring appropriate project disciplines are in place to drive the evaluation projects forward to achieve successful implementation by the appropriate due date.

Key responsibilities:

  • Detailed design and planning of the evaluation programme
  • Day to day management of the evaluation programme-ensuring that evaluation actions take place inside the pilots and in the control groups
  • Write-up results of evaluation programme to establish the value of the local presence, identify how best to organise them, undertake cost-benefit analysis and finalise which business processes need to be made standard
  • Ensure that the evaluation programme is managed within the agreed scope, time and budget
  • Provide regular progress reports and track changes as a result of evaluation proves
  • Liaise with the Quality & Evaluation team to ensure evaluation programme is aligned with the corporate evaluation framework
  • Contribute to the patient focused organisational goals by recognising and promoting equal citizenship underpins all activities with the LP team
  • Take responsibility for own performance and continuous development by achieving and managing own workload, being responsible for updating own progress against work activities an continually updating knowledge and skills

 
Location: Central London

Type: Contract

Salary Guide: £Negotiable depending on experience.

Start Date: November – Expected to be a 12 month contract.


Skills:

  • Understanding of healthcare organisations, in NHS and/or private sector
  • Experience of evaluation method design and process of implementation
  • Ability to write reports and present findings to a variety of audiences
  • Good implementation skills with ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of the organisation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision

 
Person Specification:
You will have presence and have the ability to convince whilst working with diverse groups of civil servants and regional health authorities representatives.
