Planning & Change Project Manager

Purpose: Our client a Major Banking Corporation Headquartered in the UK has an exciting permanent opportunity for a Project Manager with Process Mapping skills to lead planning and change within their Wholesale and international banking organisation.

Specifically you will be applying your change management skills with in the Structured Asset Finance operation, a £16bn operation in its own right.

Using your business experience and your change project management experience you will be a real team player who wants to contribute to the operations continued success and make a real difference in our client’s business.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Project management of multiple projects ensuring the consistent and timely delivery of requirements
  • Help facilitate the drive to simplify and automate the operations business processes, optimising the efficiency of the business – there will be opportunities to get involved at the front and back ends as well as with more discrete projects involving marketing and communications
  • To contribute towards the development and delivery of a change management strategy which contributes, facilitates and supports the SAF business strategy
  • Take responsibility for co-ordinating, planning and resourcing elements of the project and change management initiatives within the operation
  • Take personal responsibility to introduce, support, sustain and input into bank policy and other central initiatives; creating an open and participative environment with effective teamwork, leadership and communications
  • Stakeholder management

As a member of the newly formed planning and change management function within the operation we are looking on behalf of our client for individuals with strong experience of project and change delivery that will be able to add immediate value to our business.

Skills:

  • Strong evidence of change management delivery (3 years plus)
  • Sound understanding of project/change management tools (appropriate qualifications Prince APM etc. an advantage)
  • Pragmatic experience of using Project and Change methodology
  • Experience within Financial Services would be useful, but not essential
  • Microsoft Office and Project
