Project Manager - Education

Purpose: Project Manager required to manage an educational based project - especially initiation of funded based projects within the education / public sector. A temporary assignment for six months based in Essex; the Project Manager will have a proven track record delivering projects which include the elements; liaising and advising at board level, working within a political sensitive environment, have experience in tenders, funding statements and contracts.

You'll be leading a lively and passionate team - using your excellent interpersonal and communication skills - and working closely with other partners and stakeholders to build professional relationships. You'll have hands on experience - especially in areas such as reporting and be able to guide your team throughout the project.

Skills:

• Previous track record of effective project management
• Some knowledge of education (preferred but not essential)
• Understanding of funding statements and business contracts
• Knowledge of marketing and communications
• Ability to work in a politically sensitive environment
• Ability to understand and interpret complex guidance notes
• Web design (preferred but not essential)
