Project Leaders - Submarine Projects

Purpose: Continued expansion means my client requires additional Project Leaders to work with assigned Project Manager on challenging state of the art programmes, who can take responsibility for managing all aspects of the day-to-day management of one or more projects. As required you will act as the Control Account Manager responsible for defining, planning, managing and delivering assigned projects to meet customer and business requirements.

Applications are invited from individuals, preferably with an engineering background, who are academically qualified to a minimum of HNC or equivalent standard, and have a good understanding of working with processes and procedures. Those with LCM, EVM and Project Risk Management process experience would be of particular interest. Formal APM qualifications, such as APMP and Risk Certification would also be recognised.

Successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a broad range of activities to support the Project Management processes and providing help in delivering all activities and products to agreed Schedules/ Plans at budgeted cost whilst satisfying the company quality requirements. Including: Support to the bid and tendering process; Analysis and progress reporting on project performance, using EVM analysis; Review, analysis and synthesis of project reports including plans and budgets; Support to the Risk and Opportunity Management processes; Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to meet their requirements, and leading in swift resolution of major issues.

• Candidates must be computer literate in Microsoft desktop applications, particularly Excel to a good standard, as a minimum. Also knowledge and experience with Access, PowerPoint and Project would be an advantage.
