The NSPCC had recently been awarded government contracts to deliver front line services but were concerned that they were missing the core competencies around the programme and project management capability to deliver effectively. Arras People's Consultative Approach
After meeting at their head office to discuss the requirements in detail and draw up a programme management profile for the NSPCC's own organisational needs, Arras were able to conduct a search to identify strong Programme Managers who could initially bring leadership to a strategically important ICT programme.
Arras identified a range of third sector Programme Managers with a spread of experiences and although the charity programme manager recruitment was halted by the organisation's need to find a new chief executive - one candidate was selected for a related role.

The Royal Veterinary College in London used Arras People's interim project management services to bring in an Interim Head of Development Services - a role specifically needed to maintain a quality service for building maintenance and minor works development and to take the lead on the strategic development of the development services. The role reported to the Director of Estates and took an active part in the strategic and operational management of the Estate.

Project Management Team
Healthcare Commission (Care Quality Commission), the health and social care regulator for England, worked with Arras People to source a number of project management professionals to join their organisation on a contract basis. Project Managers were required to head up multiple workstreams of a business transformation programme, along with supporting team members such as Project Support Officers and Test Managers. Arras People not only supplies project management staff within the NHS, but also the regulatory bodies and councils that exist in the public sector today.
