Bid Support, Bird Coordinator, Bid Administrator Recruitment

Bid Support, Bid Co-ordinator, Bid Administrator, and  Proposal Administrator are roles which support the Bid Manager in the bid or tender process. The Bid Support staff are generally experienced in co-ordinating multiple bids, or tenders have excellent organizational skills and are particularly good in areas such as document formatting, research – in areas such as pricing, good written skills and a keen eye for detail especially if typing and proof reading documents. Bid work tends to alternate between high pressure and tight deadlines to extreme lows – the aftermath of a good tender response going out the door and waiting for the next steps!

A bid support team or member of staff are considered to be permanent members of staff; especially for professional services or consultancy organisations where there will be a large number of bids and tenders being managed at any one time. This permanent resource is considered to be highly valuable in retaining knowledge across multiple tenders i.e., the bid support will hold a portfolio of standard tender responses; pre-written case studies; standard corporate responses in areas such as Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities etc

Bid Support work can also be considered a stepping stone into other project support roles like Project Co-ordinator or Project Administrator
