The Programme Office Quality Assurance specialist will be providing support to a vast number of projects or workstreams as well as at programme level. They may also have a large remit if they are providing one to one support and expertise at programme and portfolio level. Again, the more complex the project environment, the greater the level of skills needed.
The Programme Office Quality Assurance lead will focus in areas such as products, testing, contract and sign off and establish the quality management process which will run throughout the project and programme.
The Programme Office Quality Assurance lead may also have a remit at the coporate office level; ensuring the organisation's overaching quality management processes and procedures are fed into the quality processes at programme and project level. This kind of remit will also mean the Quality Assurance lead will provide an internal auditor role for the organisation's external accreditatiors (BSi; ISO9001, ISO4001 etc)
