Transition Project Manager – HR

Purpose: Our client, a global human resources outsourcing and consulting firm URGENTLY require a Transition Project Manager to join their team delivering innovative people solutions. In this role you will be responsible for managing client relationships to ensure effective delivery and sign-off of your allocated project(s) in terms of client satisfaction and commercial viability.

A background in HR solutions would be advantageous but is not mandatory; the key skill is your ability to deliver projects in a structured manner eg Prince in a client facing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effectively leading your team to deliver maximum value to clients
  • Produce specific outcomes relating to the overall programme through planning, budgeting or scheduling activities
  • Direct project activities by managing scope, quality, effort, dependencies and risk
  • Create working interfaces with other project and organisation groups impacted by project outcomes
  • Carry out due diligence activity as required and migrate or transform processes
  • Comply with all Health & Safety requirements and promote a safe working environment


Location: Hertfordshire + Client site

Type: Permanent

Salary Guide: To £45k with flexible benefits package

Start Date: Start – URGENT - ASAP


Skills:

  • Extensive Project Management experience (including managing one major change programme)
  • Exposure to working with a recognized methodology
  • Client-facing experience
  • Experience of balancing partnership with optimisation of project business case
  • Leadership and direction of client and internal multi-function project team
  • Exposure to a service centre environment
  • Exposure to process design and / or improvement experience
  • Experience of projects involving PeopleSoft / ERP software
