Project Manager / Lead Consultant

Purpose: Our client, an internationally recognized consulting firm, requires an experienced Consultant / Project Manager to join their expanding People Solutions group. You will be an English / German speaker, located within a close proximity to a major airport, and be willing to travel to client based assignments on a regular basis.

You will lead your team on client engagements which provide a foundation for the design, implementation and sustainability of improved business practices and employee and management behaviours.

With a minimum of 5 years experience in organizational development or training; a degree level education; excellent interpersonal skills; and a track record of leading successful teams in a client based environment.

People Solutions Consultants work with clients to provide a foundation for the design, implementation and sustainability of improved business practices and employee and management behaviours. They do this by aligning and engaging people in cutting edge communications, education, training and coaching to support the required project architecture and pursuit of results.

These solutions are customised to the clients workplace, designed specifically for the client need at hand, ultimately engaging the hearts and minds of people to establish buy-in and maintain their involvement throughout the assignment. This, coupled with creative learning processes and tools provides the basis for accelerated and sustainable change.

Location: UK - Open (Client based assignments – extensive travel)

Type: Permanent

Salary Guide: £/ Euros competitive dependent on experience

Start Date: ASAP


Skills & Experience: We are looking for candidates who have some or all of the following:

  • English & German language skills
  • A bachelor's degree specialising in:
    • Organizational development;
    • Human resource management; or
    • Corporate communications
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in training or organizational development
  • Demonstrable experience of leading a team to successful conclusions
  • Experience in developing and delivering training - on-the-floor, classroom or multimedia
  • The ability to deliver on-the-floor coaching is required
  • Experience at design/roll out of organisation-wide communications strategies
  • The ability to communicate effectively from the shop floor to senior mgmt
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Great facilitation skills
  • Your specialist areas may include manufacturing, retail, sales, mining, financial services


Role Requirements:

  • Ability to develop relevant solutions and evaluate measures to improve performance
  • Ability to co-operate closely with all levels of client personnel

  • Relocation is not required, however candidates must live within a close proximity to a major airport.
  • Requires 100% travel
