Project Manager (HR Solutions)

Purpose: Our client, a HR solutions organisation are looking for a Project Manager to join their organisation in a permanent role based in the South East area.

With 2-3 years prior project management experience (preferably within the HR area) and with a PRINCE2 accreditation to your name, you will be looking for an opportunity which will give you project manager responsibilities right across the lifecycle from business development / tenders through to managing the deliverables and rollout.

Your job purpose: To ensure the delivery of effective HR solutions to clients, including research, design, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of processes. To ensure that HR projects are delivered to time and cost constraints. To take an active role in the development of new business.

With a prior background delivering projects in the Human Resources area you will have responsibilities in presales, business development, client management, team management and project management. You will also be working on client sites therefore its essential that you are able to travel and be based on clients sites for extended periods. With many projects being based in the South East area, our client is flexible as to your home location.

Salary Guide: £25-35K

Skills:

  • At least 3 years previous experience of managing projects/people – must be PRINCE2 qualified with proven experience of managing projects following its guidelines
  • Qualified to at least CIPD Grad or equivalent level. Postgraduate qualification desirable
  • Strong applied expertise either as a generalist across all areas of HR, or specialising in an aspect of the process (e.g. employee relations, reward)
  • Relationship management skills/experience
  • PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and E-mail
  • Understanding of the principles of project management
  • Project management skills including cost/time/resource management
  • Proven achievements in business development
