Employee Communications & Corporate Affairs Manager
Purpose: To provide specialist expertise and leadership to our Client’s Communication Functions ensuring communication channels and key messages are appropriately managed to promote effective stakeholder and employee engagement with corporate business goals. To work with colleagues to provide value added internal consultancy support in respect of internal communications
- Contribute to the senior management team of the Human Resources Division, ensuring communications aligns with the HR Strategy
- Provide professional leadership and expertise across the organisation to contribute to organisational development and management of change aligned with the business priorities. Ensuring all employees are well informed about issues that affect them and the success of the business
- In partnership with key internal customers contribute to the development of communication plans for key projects and change initiatives which require a co-ordinated or joined-up approach across the business ensuring messages are properly communicated and developments are effectively shared across the organisation
- Develop and implement an internal Communications Strategy for the organisation which promotes effective employee engagement with the organisations’ mission and evaluate progress against agreed performance measures on behalf of the Board
- Ensure key stakeholders are effectively briefed on sensitive or contentious matters, advising on appropriate responses and developing management strategy to ensure stable employee relations climate and confidence in business strategy
- Own and develop communications channels in respect of the corporate intranet, staff newsletter, what’s new and core brief, ensuring these provide coherent and reliable messages to employees
Location: Central London or Norwich
Type: Contract
Salary Guide: Norwich to £38,250; London to £42,993; 6 months pro-rata plus public sector benefits

Skills:
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CAM/IPR), combined with practical expertise gained through experience in a similar internal communications role
- Ability to select appropriate communication routes appropriate to different messages and audiences
