Project Manager - Facilities/Construction/Sites

Purpose: Project Manager required for a 6 month period of maternity cover within a development programme of work within this facilities/construction/media organisation.

Proven and strong project management skills within an operational and technical project environment, strong people management skills and financial / budget control skills are needed to ensure the programme of work is effectively managed from a planning and control point of view.

Reporting to the Development Director your remit will include working closely with the Development Manager/s in aspects of project delivery, ensuring all the projects are within the programme and have agreed budget and are on-time for delivery through effective progress reporting.

With a staff of 2 (project support and project accountant) you will be defining the complete overview of the programme of work and all aspects of status by effective working with the development team and internal clients. Occasional travel to client sites will be expected.

Skills:

  • 5 years Project Management Experience
  • Client facing experience
  • Experience within a facilities / construction/ client sites
  • Good knowledge of Word/Excel essential
  • Project Management experience in a multi million pound project environment
  • Man Management skills essential
  • Current clean driving licence
