Education Business Development Programme Manager

Customer focused Business Development Programme Manager required within one of the largest school improvement and support service organisations in the country. Working with schools, extended services, local authorities, colleges, government departments and agencies to improve the life chances of Children and Young People. 

The role:

Creating and delivering a pipeline of opportunities resulting in achievement of business plan objectives for new business. Development and implementation of business development strategy and associated business plan so as to deliver company growth in line with shareholder expectations. 

• Contribute to the development, implementation and review of the company’s strategy and rolling 5 year business plan
• Develop, implement and maintain the business development strategy, pipeline and associated plans
• Work with the other executives, and general managers in particular, to ensure that opportunities for growth are exploited appropriately and effectively
• Cascade ownership of and involvement in business development through various channels such as internal communications, project and team structures, The Forum etc.
• Integrate business development requirements into the business plan, people strategy, resourcing strategy, QMF and other company processes
• In conjunction with the central finance team, and in the context of market forces, create and deploy a budget that reflects the vision and meets shareholders’ expectations
