Arras People’s Lindsay Scott will be back at the annual showcase event from the APMG on Thursday 28th June 2012. Lindsay will be hosting a Birds of a Feather session focused on Project Management Career Challenges.
Project Management Career Challenges is an opportunity to discuss the real challenges project management professionals are facing in their careers. The discussion, exchange of real practical ideas and take-aways will all depend on the career areas the table elicits to discuss. Career challenges could cover;
- finding new work opportunities;
- becoming freelance;
- standing out in a crowded market;
- moving sectors or;
- understanding what employers are looking for in their project professionals today
Each session will start with understanding the top three concerns which will then be discussed throughout the session.
Taking insights from the latest Project Management Benchmark Report, the session aims to give practical ideas exchange between delegates and insights from the current project management marketplace.
Each Bird of a Feather session at the event is a hosted round table of approximately 10 project management practitioners – practitioners can attend BoF sessions throughout the day.
