7. How does Arras People know how to find the
best project managers?
Arras People attracts project management professionals
everyday due to our unique approach to registering applicants
(applicants can register for permanent, contract or flexible
staus - permanent or contract).
We also attract quality applicants due to our
professional approach to advertising roles (see
an example) using our project management job board giving extended details about each role available.
Arras People also value the networking approach
- we are members of professional project management and project
office groups which allow us to meet new and existing contacts.
When Arras People commences a new requirement
we draw on these pools of resources as well as on-line advertising, online tools
and printed media. Once we select a shortlist, Arras' knowledge
based interview techniques then allow us to really
understand the levels of expertise each applicant possesses,
giving the clients an excellent shortlist of CV's to view.
8. What happens after I've contacted you with
a requirement?
When we receive the initial call or email from
you, we assign the role to a dedicated consultant. This consultant
will be your main point of contact from this point forward.
The consultant will then contact you to find
out more information about the role, your organisation, your
programme or project and logistical details. Arras People
highly recommends that as much information as possible is
shared at this point to ensure a thorough recruitment process
can be followed.Terms of business are also agreed with you at this stage.

Arras People will then commence the candidate
selection process pulling from a number of different
sources. Arras then draws up its own shortlist and commences
telephone interviews with suitable candidates (calls often
take up to 1 hour). The candidate will be fully briefed about
the role and your business to ensure an open and fair interview.
After all, some candidates have reservations about working
for / with some employers!!
When a candidate is deemed to have a profile
which fits the client requirement, Arras People completes
a pro-forma summary for each candidate (this highlights the
candidates career to date, person profile, details about availability/rate
etc and high level skills profile). This profile along with
the CV is then sent to you.
Arras People then works with you to ensure
feedback is received and the shortlisted candidates expectations
are met.
If you would like to interview a candidate,
Arras People works with you and the candidate to ensure
everything is arranged correctly. Arras People then undertakes
an interview preparation meeting with the candidate.
Again, feedback is solicited after the interview
and the candidate updated accordingly. If an offer is made,
Arras People handles all logistics to ensure you and
candidate are ready to commence.
