Would PRINCE2 translate across the “pond”?

Just noticed this press release “Practical and Proven International Project Management Methodology Comes to the United StatesUS training company, ISSSC, partners with UK training firm to deliver PRINCE2, the internationally proven project management methodology. ISSSC is the first US company to offer PRINCE2 training within the United States in partnership with Advantage Learning Ltd.

So PRINCE2 hits the States eh? I’m intrigued to see how PRINCE2 is received by the project management community and how the method will sit with the PMI heavily influenced project managers.

Any American readers who could fill us in – comments would be gratefully received.
