Woo hoo, the project management careers clinics are fully booked!

With a couple of weeks to go to the Project Challenge show in Birmingham (25th & 26th March) we’ve completely booked up all 33 free careers consultations (that’s a lot of “frees”)

Anyhow, we’re really looking forward to the two days,  it’s going to be busy (other than seeing 33 project professionals!) we’re looking forward to seeing some of our clients and generally having a chat with others who work in the project management field.

Some of the questions that have been raised by individuals booked on to the careers consultations include; “…how to market my CV more effectively”, “….gain an understanding of the current market”, “…. looking for guidance on the approach that I should take for contracting positions”, “… I want to switch my career – how do I go about doing it”

Good questions! And no doubt there are more people out there that would like individual and personal answers to those questions. Don’t worry if you missed out on our first roadshow, there will be more in the future but in the meantime you can use our normal project management careers clinic service here.

If you’re in the Birmingham area in a few weeks, just pop in and see us (have your CV handy, we might be able to squeeze you in!).

Arras People are still the only project management recruitment business in the UK where all our consultants have worked within the field of programme management, project management and project office support at some point in their careers. The careers consultations are unique – there’s nowhere else that offers such a service with such good results. In fact, today I heard that a recent career clinic attendee has just secured a new post, a mere 3 weeks after reviewing her CV and getting in the right mindframe for employment.
