Turns out that it’s one of our own Arras People project management consultants.
The photo at right (thanks to Owain Wilson of Project magazine for supplying it to us for further use!) featured earlier this week in the August/ September issue of Project magazine, specifically in a magazine supplemental pull out, Network. The article it featured with was titled ‘BAE opens its doors’, referencing North West APM members’ trip to a BAE Warton military jet factory, located between Preston and Blackpool.
Standing in the back row with the glasses, though, was someone who looked oddly familiar to those of us at Arras People who have an eye for detail. Which is all of us.
So we decided to take a closer look.
Sure enough, our suspicions were justified – that was our own Gary Holmes, project management recruitment consultant and serial smiler!
Gary had a lot of good things to say about the BAE experience, and he will have a blog post for you early next week, hopefully without revealing too much information about the planes themselves.
No word yet on whether or not he climbed into any cockpits. Furthermore, no word yet on if he felt the need…the need for speed!
And really, he loves having his face plastered on How to Manage a Camel. No, seriously!
