What project software do your PM colleagues use?

Last week I was asked by one of my Twitter followers;

Any suggestions for an online Project Management Tool? Happy to pay and need to to incude scheduling, milestone / task tracking and have an online document store

The project management scene on Twitter is a vibrant one, just check out some of the latest tweets (messages) from the Project Management on Twitter (#pmot) stream at the moment. When I put that question to the community, and as you probably might expect, there were lots of suggestions, recommendations and ideas. Here’s the list and recommendations for you to check out;

Try out DeskAway and let us know what u think? http://deskaway.com/

You can use SharePoint online for your Project Management needs http://office365.com and here’s a video on how you can use SharePoint for Project Management

Check 5pm for an online project management tool www.5pmweb.com

Best PM? For integrated project tracking, communication, collaboration see Traction TeamPage and see Traction TeamPage videos on integrated action tracking and project management http://t.co/jAVPX8i

We use Open Air for scheduling, timesheets control and billing. Sharepoint for document approval and storage http://www.openair.com/Products/PSA-Software-OpenAir

I’d strongly recommend TeamWorkPM for small project teams …despite lack of issue log! For Agile IT projects see JIRA

Internally we use SharePoint, externally we use basecamp from 37Signals. http://basecamphq.com/

Try Teambox too! http://teambox.com/

WORKetc is a powerful integrated solution, doing all you’ve listed above + other things. See this: http://t.co/lccIpCn
