In my experience projects become late 1 day at a time so counting days is a good focuser for all.
I don’t know about you I can relax about 5 years – but 2033 days sets a different picture in my head. In February there will be less than 2000 days to the opening ceremony.
The plan is 2 years planning 2 years building 1 year testing! See the London 2012 blog for progress, the ODA (Olympic Delivery Authority) are hard at it .
Did you know 75,000 Litres of milk will be needed during the Games – that is a lot of cows.
