An article published in the Jobserve newsletter about contract work being very good for people doesn’t really tell us anything new – “Contract work is perfect for people who need to broaden their wealth of experience in different areas.”
The interesting thing about this article is its timing – contract work is good for people but there’s a lack of good contract opportunities around at the moment and this has been the case for the last 4 months!
Of course it could be a clever marketing ploy to get people consiciously thinking about taking on contractors again but more likely it’s a blatant marketing exercise for the recruitment agency looking for extra work!
