UPDATE: Check out who else is showing up to Synergy 2011
The Project Management Institute’s UK chapter (PMI-UK) will sponsor Synergy 2011, a one-day event in London engineered to both recognise and celebrate the project management profession. As PMI-UK perenially plays host to the International Project Management Day, this event slated for 3rd November at IndigoO2 has a more grandiose feel, matching PMI’s aims to do something bigger, bolder and grander to raise the profile of project management within the UK.
The event will provide opportunities for project personnel and related participants to network, learn and enjoy the entertaining facilities available at IndigoO2. There will be a wealth of noted speakers to hear from, including notable construction project manager Howard Shiplee, former London mayor Ken Livingstone, cricket legend Mike Brearley OBE, Cranfield University PPM lecturer Stephen Carver, and The Apprentice finalist Claire Young, among many others.
The main hosts for the event include project, portfolio and risk specialist Richard Vargas, conference host Roy Sheppard and PMI president/CEO Mark Langley.
For more information on this event, check out the PMI-UK webpage on Synergy 2011.
