Strategy Execution on #pmchat

Friday afternoons on Twitter is the place for project practitioners to kick back for an hour and have a chat with other practitioners around the world. It’s amazing really how just a few years ago it would be pretty impossible to do something like this – something so simple and inclusive – available right from your desk.

On Friday 14th October at 5pm UK time (12pm ET), I’ll be hosting #pmchat for an hour alongside Deanne Earle on Strategy Execution and Portfolio Management.

A pretty vast topic which means the #pmchat will certainly be alight with discussion.

So what is #pmchat and how do I join in?

#pmchat takes place on Twitter.

The hashtag is used by everyone taking part in the chat.

The host of the hour posing questions relating to the theme – including the hashtag.

The people taking part answer the questions and include the hashtag too.

That way when you search a hashtag on Twitter you can see everyone’s conversation.

TwitterIf you already have an account just click on or search for the hashtag #pmchat. You’ll see all the conversations happening. It’s easy to make sense of what’s going on when you read from the bottom up.

If you’re not on Twitter but would like to read what’s going on, you’ll be able to see everything via this Twitter page on the day. Just refresh the page to keep up with what’s happening.

Perhaps you’d like to take part in the conversation. In which case, bite the bullet and set up a Twitter account. Here’s an old post to get you started.

Sounds great, I don’t want to miss it

Good! To be reminded just follow @projectmgmt on Twitter and I’ll make sure you don’t forget about it!
