Today I visited a client whose organisation has excellent growth plans; they have the contracts and can see further business development opportunities ahead. My client’s concern and challenge is that they will not find the project management resources they need in the UK.
At the same time I also read in the press that Nigeria has started a process of recruiting skilled Nigerians back to Nigeria – experienced and educated staff who have come to the UK along with amongst others skilled Australians, South Africans and New Zealanders to fill the many gaps in the UK work force especially in the project arena.
Something is going to have to give, where will we find the staff required?
