Arras People

Notice regarding Arras People

Following an internal review, the directors of Arras Services have made the decision to withdraw the services offered through the Arras People brand from new clients and practitioners.

After serving the project management market for 20 years, during which time we have seen many changes, 2022 feels like a good year for us to look for a new focus in our lives. During our stay, we have seen a healthy growth in the deployment of project management practitioners across many sectors not to mention many changes with trends such as agile and latterly, workplace challenges as the impacts of COVID19 hit home.

We would like to thank all the organisations who have used our services over the years, it’s been really interesting to support your initiatives and you have brought much diversity and interest to our daily lives.

We will also miss the daily interactions with practitioners, who have put themselves forward as candidates for the roles we have looked to fill. Whilst we couldn’t find roles for all of you, your interactions with us and the sharing of your career aspirations and frustrations have made the last 20 years worthwhile.

Over the years Arras People has been much copied by other organisations (large and small) who have sought to find a foothold in the market serving the PPM community; we have seen it as a positive, an indicator that we were doing the right kind of stuff. Benchmark reports, careers clinics, a focus on the PMO space, polling organisations and practitioners have all been stimulating for the team and hopefully put something back into the community.

The world has changed but then again that’s the whole point of project management. We leave, satisfied that we have made a difference to many practitioners lives, not sad but with a smile on our faces. Working a niche is always a challenge and one we thoroughly enjoyed.

So, with thanks and respect we take our bow.
