Having been asked for my opinion I thought I would record it for debate – Interim Contracting jobs in the UK have started to pick up after slow numbers over July, August and September. There are many more permanent roles available than at this time last year quite a significant increase.
The public sector has slowed down especially in health care for interim roles where most budgets have been slashed with reviews on resourcing and approaches to staffing being delayed
The outlook has to be good all round “after a correction in day rates over the past year I believe it is a candidate market for many roles and I can only think this will continue that way for the foreseeable future.
The biggest increase in public sector spending over the next 2 to 3 years as I understand it will be education.
