Literally in the back of the Arras bus on the M6 after 2 days of our Project Management Careers Clinics as I type this (this USB modem I have is fab – travel and blog at the same time!) Anyhow, the Project Challenge show was very busy for us – there are a lot of people interested in talking about their careers (more about that tomorrow) but I’m glad we took the careers clinics on the road. It enabled us to review people’s CV right there and then, offer practical advice and guidance about what people can be doing for themselves right now. Also fortunately for us our “competitors” stood out for being a bit useless (“yeah just register on our site….” was one response a frustrated job seeker got when actually he wanted to speak to a real person first!)
