We have been approached by the content authors for the Connexions website www.connexions-direct.com/jobs4u to see if we can put them in contact with individuals / employers who are willing to be telephone interviewed so they can build a case study about Project Management as a career choice.
The website which is funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families is a careers resource which is used by young people, schools and careers advisers across the UK.
They are looking for a Project Manager, who would need to be under 30 (this helps to ensure the information is more likely to be relevant to younger readers), who is working in England (this is the target area), who is willing to answer questions such as;
- How would you outline your role?
- What are your main responsibilities?
- What hours do you work?
- What is your working environment like?
- Who do you work with?
- What skills or qualities do you need?
- Why did you choose this type of work?
- What training have you done?
- Do you use any special tools or equipment?
- What do you like/dislike about your job?
- What are the main challenges?
If this is of interest and you are willing to offer your time please can you drop an email to john@arraspeople.co.uk . The draft article would be shared with the interviewee, and their employer, for approval before publication. The employing organisation would obviously be mentioned.
Thanks
