Local authorities in the UK have been focused on programme and project management capabilities and best practice for a while now – in many regions across the UK, local authorities are hosting get togethers to talk about PPM matters that affect their projects and programmes. The Collective Voice is a voluntary group of public sector p3m professionals and you can find out more about the Communities of Practice that are happening in your region.
If you are in the South West region there is an event happening on the Tuesday 10th May 2011 which is free to go along to – being held at the Bristol City Council, there will be delegates in attendance from across the region. You must work within the public sector in order to sign up and attend
