A Little More PMO Conversation

Many of you will know that I really enjoy the subject of PMOs – I like other stuff too so I’m not a total geek :)

One of the things that many people within PMOs like to hear about is other PMO people talking about their experiences. Believe it or not there aren’t many avenues for a PMO professional to explore when it comes to getting together for a natter. As part of my involvement with the APM PMOSIG I thought it would be a good idea to bring some of those conversations to the desktop. A bit like eavesdropping or listening without having to contribute to the witty repartee (if only)

In this conversation I talk to Benedict Pinches. Benedict has worked as a PMO Manager, Programme Manager and Portfolio Manager, mainly within the utilities sector. More recently he has started his own business Oxford Major Programmes which as the name suggests focuses on major programmes, combining academic research and practical expertise to provide innovative approaches to assisting organisations better manage major complex programmes. Benedict also holds a master degree from Said Business School in Major Programme Management and is also a committee member of the APM Thames Valley Branch
