Candidate Services

Arras People likes to deal with its candidates differently from other recruitment employment agencies because without you we wouldn't be the growing specialist agency we are.

Becoming a member of the Recruitment Employment Confederation (REC) which has 'procedures in place to ensure that each of our members operate ethically and comply with our Code of Good Practice' means we respect all our project management candidates and deal with each individual fairly, openly and honestly

So what does this really mean to you? Here are some of our qualities:

  • All our posted vacancies and opportunities sent to registered project management candidates are genuine and real!
    • Arras People attracts many project management and project office professionals every day therefore we don't need to refresh our databases (through our project recruitment website)
  • We reply to every individual email sent to us and its addressed personally to you - not an auto-reply. It may take extra time but feedback shows people really appreciate that
  • We only submit CV's to clients with your approval - Arras People believes there is no value in sending speculative project management CV's to clients
  • We comply with all Data Protection Laws (No-Z7170715)
  • We comply with our industry standards in Diversity, Equal Opportunites and Ageism legislation
  • We pay all our temporary staff promptly as specified in our contracts and in relation to our Better Pay membership

Policies

Each consultant is also an experienced and trained recruitment professional and works to the standards set by the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) and APRC (Association of Professional Recruitment Consultants). As a minimum, all consultants are educated to degree level.

Arras Services Limited aims to ensure that its services meet the needs of its Clients and Candidates at all times in accordance with contractual requirements, its policies and procedures. We operate a Quality Management System that has gained BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008 certification, including aspects specific to the supply of Project Management Recruitment Solutions
The nature of our business means that our policy, procedures and processes around equality and diversity must be applicable both internally (managing our staff) and externally (managing assignments). 

Equality, fairness and respect are part of our core values, which are expected from all members of the business in dealings with clients, candidates and each other.  This is formalised in our equality and diversity policies, underpinned by our signature of our recruitment professional body’s Diversity Pledge.

The organisation’s Integrated Management system (accredited to ISO 9001:2008)  sets out our processes and procedures,  utilising the tools and systems in existence to ensure our services are “fit for purpose” and “right first time” satisfying our client requirements and contributing to the overall quality of the client experience. The Integrated Management System incorporates ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management systems and accreditation to Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is currently under consideration.
