May 2015 - Recruitment Consultant – Permanent or Contractor Desk

39 hours / week
Based: Heywood, North Manchester
Salary: Negotiable + Uncapped Bonus

 

Arras People are seeking an experienced recruiter who wants to develop or further their career in the field of Project Management recruitment to join their successful team based in North Manchester.

Your role will be to use your accumulated skills and experiences to provide “the best recruitment services” to our blue chip client base. Working either a permanent or contractor desk, you will utilise your skills and experience to understand client requirements and then in searching and selecting excellent candidates to meet their staffing needs.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your recruitment skills whilst using (and/or developing) your Project Management knowledge across a wide range of sectors from Central Government to Charities in a Professional Consultancy environment.

 

Role responsibilities:

  • To provide excellent service to both Candidates and Clients alike during the full lifecycle of all engagements, building the arras brand and creating repeat assignments.
  • To engage in the development of the recruitment process
  • To increase business profitability through effectively managing candidate and clients
  • To effectively promote Arras and our core standards and beliefs in all aspects of business

 

Skills required:

  • Demonstrable recruitment experience
  • Sector knowledge (eg Public Sector, IT)
  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills

Arras People are currently searching for an enthusiastic and dynamic graduate trainee to join our recruitment team based in North Manchester; a great opportunity to join our business, have a structured learning path and begin your career in the lucrative world of recruitment.

Your role will be to develop an understanding of our business and how to satisfy our clients increasing need for talented professionals to deliver tangible results in the field of project management. You will actively source and place candidates and have the opportunity to make a significant impact. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a strong, hard-working fun team.

You role will entail:

  • Interacting with and sourcing candidates from our network and complex internet searches and referrals.
  • Interpreting the needs of our clients and learning to inspire the talent you approach to consider a change of career.
  • Developing skills to become a search expert by understanding the position specifications and search requirements of our clients.
  • Generating a high quality pipeline of candidates under pre-defined time restraints.
  • Qualification and presentation of candidates to shortlist; including preparing an effective summary to support their suitability.
  • Ensuring all successfully placed candidates have a care plan.
  • Developing your ability to work within a regulated and ISO 9001 compliant business process.

 

Skills and Personal traits required:

  • Minimum A-Level, ideally a degree level education
  • Self-motivated, with a desire to deliver excellence
  • Enthusiastic, energetic person with a passion to work in Recruitment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literacy, internet savvy, comfortable with learning new IT based systems
