Programme Support Officer – Exceptional P3O Opportunity
Purpose:
Programme Support Officer required for a public sector organisation based in Croydon on a permanent basis. A PMO professional with previous extensive exposure to supporting and coordinating programmes and projects within a Programme Office Centre of Excellence using OGC frameworks is required to support the PMO Manager in updating PPM methodology and extending services across the organisation. Working on a consultative basis with programme and project managers you will have exceptional communication skills and demonstrable experience of engaging a variety of stakeholders.
Role remit:
Prior exposure to the Programme Office function
Provide a support function which covers the governance areas of monitoring and control - planning, method, budgets, risks, issues and change control, communication, information flows across the organisation and to external partners, including documentation etc
Provide coaching and support to Project Managers in key governance and portfolio / programme and project management processes
Deliver benefit realisation to senior management
Candidates should be able demonstrate the practical application of portfolio, programme and project methods, tools and techniques into a new programme environment and have prior experience of working within PMO / P3O / PjO’s.
