Project Managers (x2) required to lead client focused software development projects within a newly formed project management group within our IT client. In addition to managing the full lifecycle development, the project managers will also embed project management best practice in an environment where this attitude is still maturing.
Prospective candidates will have demonstrable experience of managing full lifecycle development projects within a newly implemented formal project environment. Your experience as a project manager should therefore extend to embedding best practice project management including earned value, agile and waterfall. Your client facing skills are of highest standard as are your leadership abilities.

Responsibilities will include the following:
• Work with cross function teams in a matrix environment to define project plans • Assist with project initiation by developing project Charter/Scope and usher them through approvals • Develop and execute detailed communication plans • Create and maintain effective Risk management plans • Generate work breakdown structure and produce activity, milestones, budgets and project success criteria • Construct detailed project schedules by working with team members to create feasible work and durations estimates • Monitor and control the project activities to ensure project success • Pro-actively manage project issues providing appropriate issues escalation to the necessary levels • Manage project changes; ensuring each proposed change goes through a systematic project impact analysis and is effectively communicated
