Project Manager E-Learning / Web Publishing / German Speaking
Purpose:
Project Manager with experience of delivering software development projects and in particular e-learning software required by our public sector client for an initial fixed term until March 2011. Candidates must be fluent in German. A good grounding in French is also desirable.
Working closely with the Content Director, the ideal Project Manager will be responsible for managing the development team in delivering language based Online Learning Packages. You will have a proven background in delivering similar projects, preferably in public sector environments. Working to an in-house project methodology, you will be responsible for managing governance procedures and maintaining best practice, as well as reporting to senior management in relation to progress. You should therefore have an excellent understanding of the project / software development lifecycle.
Key skills and experience;
1. Educated to degree level or equivalent 2. Editing expertise in languages e-Learning 3. Knowledge of German is essential and French desirable 4. Experience of managing projects for the production of online language learning material 5. Able to work in a international environment under considerable pressure to tight deadlines 6. Familiarity with the latest methodological developments regarding language learning in general and e-learning in particular 7. Understanding of the software development and deployment process that can best be used for language learning online
