Programme Manager required for an initial fixed term of 12 months by our public sector client based in central London. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will head up a national high profile programme aimed at improving public services through a variety of design methods. You will work closely with Design experts and key public sector stakeholders in ensuring the success of what is a programme of national interest.
The role would suit a hands on Programme Manager with an exceptional background in managing senior public sector stakeholders. There will typically be 2-3 major projects active at any one time (budgets circa £1m). Key responsibilities will include managing key public sector clients, establishing and managing an effective communications and marketing strategy to support the programme, managing the Design experts in their hands on project work, developing an evaluation framework for the programme moving forward and reporting on progress to the Programme Director. Our client uses a derivative of Prince2 in terms of methodology so a good level of working experience around this area would be advantageous. It goes without saying therefore that you will have an outstanding background in the use of project tools and techniques.
